About Rafael Toledo

In the last couple of years, I dedicate myself to spread the knowledge of revenue management for hotels to help to develop new revenue managers and support independent small and medium size hotels to increase their results. You may find this knowledge available on Youtube and Spotify for free. I do it in a way to give back the knowledge some many people help me to develop in so many years working for the hotel industry.About my career and experience, I work for the hotel industry for 15 years which most of them is in revenue management where my passion in this industry is. I really enjoy creating and seeking new ways to drive business and grow the hotel results throw correct planning, strategic data driven analysis and customer behave studies.I have been doing Revenue Management (RM for short) for over a decade in different countries and hotel sizes and different services levels, and I can tell that any hotel, anywhere in the work can benefit with it.It gives me great pleasure to support newcomers to start in RM and develop hungry people to thrive professionally. Along my career I trained many people in my team, key stakeholder in the companies I worked for and recently in my own revenue management provider company. Those trainings were drawn to help someone to become a revenue manager or develop their skills. Many key stakeholders as sales team, operations team and general managers were trained to understand what revenue management is and how it could support them to grow their hotels results.I hope one day our industry may use RM as a natural process to manage a hotel, strengthening our industry, making our hotels more profitable to owners and creating new jobs and opportunity for future generations.
