The Assistant Store Manager - Operations is responsible for store pick-up, checkout, asset protection, customer services (return, exchange, trade-in, recycling processing), in-store phone experience, and overall information technology hardware health for an individual store.You will play a vital role in delivering efficient and effective processing, shrink plan integrity, safety and profitability within the store.As the Assistant Store Manager - Operations you will:Provide direct supervision, coaching, training, development, and performance management of supervisors and associates.Oversee all store HR practices and Employee Practice Audit compliance processes.Monitor store P&L with primary focus on storewide controllable expense metrics and partner with leadership to ensure they are equipped to make informed decisions regarding expenses.Ensure customers are being processed efficiently and effectively.Share accountability with other store leadership to develop talent and build a sales culture where employees clearly understand what is expected to deliver business results.Assist in other duties in the store such as running the sales floor and performing manager on duty functions when needed.

Responsible for all aspects of product inventory and store merchandising at an individual store level. This includes: shipping/receiving functions, warehouse organization, integrity of physical product (stock counts), accuracy and integrity of inventory documentation, store planograms and signage, pricing accuracy, and clearance / open box maintenance.You will support the direction of the Assistant Store Manager – Operations in delivering efficient and effective processing, shrink plan integrity, safety and profitability within the store.Lead and mentor team on adherence to the Department Execution Model related to inventory / merchandising process, procedure, and strategy.Consistently demonstrate responsibility for the general store look and feel that includes: interior, exterior, planograms, pricing, ad-set, down-stocking, and store functionality.Uphold adherence to physical asset protection process to foster a foundationally strong shrink culture throughout the store.Assist Manager in hiring selection, performance management, and disciplinary actions.Prepare and conduct team meetings, trainings and other special events to communicate clear goals to team.
