Collaborated with software developers, technical publishers, and managers in completing 4 major releases of IBM InfoSphere Information Server software suite as well as 2 releases of IBM WebSphere DataStage Connectors. Develop test automation utilities and procedures to shorten the testing cycle. Execute functional, integration, and regression tests. Document software bugs and write test reports. Recommend product improvements to the development team. Provide product support to assigned customers as a Lab Advocate. • Write comprehensive test plans to cover all areas of verification for releases of IBM InfoSphere QualtiyStage Extensions utilizing the Waterfall methodology. Trained on the Agile methodology and adapted some of the concepts at the local part of the projects. • Designed procedures and techniques, leveraging internet public domain web sites to collect and generate large volumes of test data for QualtiyStage address verification extension.• Developed, enhanced and automated process to execute monthly reference data tests, freeing up engineer’s’ time for other testing tasks.• Trained team members and oversaw testing for applications, providing support and helping resolve issues throughout the testing cycle.• Co-led the development project to create a test platform for test case management and to automate run-time execution of data quality products, which reduced execution time from one month to one week per test suite.• Developed techniques to optimized Unix test environments to allow testing of multiple software builds, which helped shorten the test cycle by 50% as well as expand the test coverage to 100% of the product’s version-platform combination for every release.• Completed 2 releases of the IBM WebSphere DataStage database connectors for DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase.
