As Director of Volunteer Information at The Stakeholders I manage and maintain the Regional Volunteer website (http://stakeholders.force.com) and work with the Nonprofit organizations that register and post their volunteer opportunities. I work with individual volunteers as they build their volunteer profiles, and I work with corporations who become partners and establish or run their corporate volunteer programs.I also deliver a variety of Volunteer Management and Volunteer Leadership courses which enhance the Nonprofit and Corporate volunteer programs. I am active ambassador for The Stakeholders, Inc, promoting the Regional Volunteer Center covering an eight county region that includes Washington, Warren, Schenectady, Saratoga, Rensselaer, Greene, Columbia, and Albany counties in upstate NY.

I was the liaison between The Agility Forum’s activities and the projects in agility that were funded by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA), National Science Foundation (NSF) and other federal agencies. This includes facilitating the integration with the output from these projects into the larger framework of agility that The Agility Forum was responsible for.

I had responsibility for all aspects of Forum activities that affect the small and medium business community. I had full program and budget responsibility for this aspect of Forum operations. Chaired and directed the activities of an industry advisory council. Also responsible for establishing relationships with Manufacturing Extension Program Centers, Electronic Commerce Resource Centers, Small Business Development Centers, State outreach programs to small and medium business, Academic and Government initiatives to assist small and medium business.

I was a Logistics Systems Analyst and also a Computer Systems Analyst.I was in a leadership capacity to bring diverse elements of the various logistics functions together to focus on the common goal of time reduction. Many times, this involved bringing organizations together that were in fact competitors and getting them to be collaborators, while still providing opportunity for them to maintain individual strategic advantage.I was active with a number of industry and government entities and consortia, particularly with the Agility Forum. I assisted with, and influenced the development and application of tools and techniques for organizational analysis of their Agility Response Ability.

Total responsibility for an organization of 130 people. P&L responsiblities in excess of 3.2 million dollars annually. Responsible for inventories in excess of 100 million dollars book value. Mission responsibilities included all receipt, storage, issue and accountability of production raw material as well as stock management for installation operating supplies. Implemented a number of computer applications to enhance management capabilities and functions, to include implementation of an Automated Supply Center for office supplies and utility/repair parts inventory; specification development and implementation of an automated Tool Management System for cutting tools, fixtures, and expendable supplies; and analysis and specification of material handling equipment to meet specific needs. Engineered and implemented a reorganization of the Supply Division in response to changing workload and mission requirements.
