Achieved numerous improvements in the child welfare system, including a decrease in the number of children in the system from 2,100 to 1,600, a 25% annual increase in the number of children adopted, a 25% annual increase in the number of foster homes, and a reduction in turnover of case workers from 35% to 8%.

Charleston, West Virginia Area

Performed executive director functions for a $14 million statewide non-profit provider of foster care and in-home behavioral health services for children. Directed operations of twenty offices serving forty-four counties and 2,000 clients with 275 employees. Led turnaround to profitability, reducing financial loss by an average of $90,000 per month.
