I lead 6 key suppliers in Asia area which includes Plastic, Mechanical, Optical parts and drive them to provide high quality of the OK2X deliverables like drawing review, QCP, MSA, MSOP, SIP, FAI, CPK, OQC etc. All PP and Prod orders are qualified by the OK2X process and completed on time, successfully shipped out to FATP for Waymo Vehicle builds. I plan the schedule and milestones with core team and key supplier/partner in alignment with the overall program plan and put the right level of measures/actions/resources depending on complexity/criticity of the new projects. I ensure the key project milestones are met and emerging issue are addressed in a timely and cost-effective manner by influencing all needed from the top management providing understandable, accurate and reliable information with options for decision. I drive and interpret the material quality standard/specification to ensure incoming material quality. I own and support the NPI process for continuous improvement and Drive supplier quality system optimization by conducting process audit and quality issue troubleshooting (8D) to address the root cause and corrective/preventive actions. Management up to 8D closure, lessons learned feedback & cost recovery. And ensure lessons learned from previous programs/suppliers/customers are taken into account in new projects.I work with cross-functional team (GSM, ME, REL, MPM) to support the new supplier selection with regard to quality aspects and provide inputs on performance that will influence decision and risk assessment including robustness of the capability and capacity of suppliers during new project initiation phases.I identify the training needs and develop the training plan on NPI process to core team members and supplier to ensure the build up and strengthen NPI capability with Waymo and vendors.
