    - PCIe Software Team Lead (2019-Present)My team handles the software drivers and ecosystem around the PCIe controllers in Qualcomm SoCs. This includes support in PC-side tools, bootloaders, OSs, and peripherals. - Memory validation/selection lead (2018-2019)I was responsible for developing and executing a strategy for validating flash and DRAM memory parts on Qualcomm platforms to ensure compatibility and suitability for commercial products. Key to these roles was maintaining relationships with memory vendors and ensuring that our roadmaps are aligned to satisfy the needs of our mutual customers.- Software lead for the improveTouch host-based touch processing solution (2015-2018)I led the software team that developed a disruptive, industry-leading capacitive touchscreen solution. . The primary objective was to move touch processing from a panel-mounted, resource-constrained MCU to the Snapdragon DSP to reduce cost and significantly increase capabilities. I led a team of 11 local and 7 offshore software engineers. (Hyderabad, Shanghai, and Shenzhen).I worked closely with Product Management and the hardware/systems teams to influence the team priorities and ensure that this new technology was smoothly introduced into internal and customer platforms.- Software lead for mobile storage devices (SD, eMMC, UFS, NAND, NOR, EEPROM) and filesystems (2007-2015)I started with hands-on software development in Windows Mobile and Linux to support SD/MMC and eMMC devices, and then led the transition from NAND to eMMC to UFS as the primary storage device for mobile devices. Innovations were supporting in-place execution for Java bytecode, customized support for the device's primitive filesystem, and adaptation to the atypical screen and button layout.- Software development for the two-way Pagewriter 2000 pager (1997-2000)I focused primarily on software development for a graphical UI and application framework that was way ahead of its time, and messaging protocols that supported one of the first mobile email platforms.
