Quality Assurance Specialist
Current* Performing daily testing activities including execution of manual functional testing, regression, performance, smoke testing among others to verify the quality of on-demand television applications and ensure the best end users experience. * Daily reporting of progress as a direct responsible individual of a specific technology on a team and corresponding bug tracking follow up, as well as participation in scrum team meetings with QA and development teams. * Effective analysis of customer business requirements for testing.* Communication and collaboration cross team locally with developers, leaders, project manager and QA colleagues as well as geographically distributed teams. * Use of Charles Proxy and other HTTP proxy services to review and collect logs data from devices/TV’s.* Use of proprietary quality assurance tools, ticketing software, setup of different brand/technologies boxes and testing environments related to smart TV/devices applications.* Application of quality assurance best practices combined with customer methodologies.
