Support efforts to improve data quality completeness, timeliness, and accuracy by gaining deep understanding of the current Prepaid Medical Management Information System (PMMIS), identifying barriers, and implementing solutions. Work directly with users, peers, other technical staff, Agency management and other staff to understand the PMMIS system and business user needs; work closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) unit to make sure any changes to the PMMIS are reflected in the data warehouse and reporting tools. Respond to requests for entities external to the Agency, and oversee and train other business analysts.

Collaborate with line of business data owners to complete research and data quality investigations; Prepare data dictionaries on various subsystems that include source to target mapping; Participate in various workgroups and meetings on data governance including data quality, provider issues, reference table updates, encounter data, integrated analytics platform projects, data governance platform, and data stewardship committees; Lead Data Governance team meetings related to data items, provide direction, and training; Consistently build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Formulate and execute user acceptance testing with a high degree of accuracy; Monitor progress of all System Service Requests (SSR) and outcomes; Maintain and enhance the SSR and ticket tracking; Coordinate web update requests; Communicate with internal and external customers of testing information and system promotes.

Provide technical assistance to contractors related to encounters process; Monitor compliance with processing encounter standards and monitor corrective actions; Prepare for and participate in quarterly encounter meetings with Contractors; Review and monitor deliverables, monthly encounter reports, and adjudicate encounter overrides.
