This content management supply chain included all phases of content, from content creation (manual and AI) through distribution and data archival.Merging The Weather Channel, Entertainment Studios, local affiliates and digital apps under one umbrella reduced launch and winddown costs. To streamline operations, I created a central content repository to accelerate asset delivery and retrieval.By instituting a 48-hour monitoring period during channel onboarding, we reduced errors related to ad frequency and nonstandard formatting. Additional benefits were higher monetization and better compliance with FCC content standards. Assembled a complete content operation to populate a vast VOD library and 300+ linear AVOD channels available in 28 countries. I built scalable systems and processes from the ground up, collaborating with data, product, and architecture experts on a MAM/DAM product solution, a functional content metadata model and a world-class live streaming operation with a centralized CMS platform.Well versed in the intricacies of working with international media management teams, I aligned teams in US, Germany, and Argentina, designed an end-to-end content supply chain with stringent quality and performance standards and integrated automated workflows into manual processes.Bringing the company into compliance with FCC closed caption standards was a significant contribution to ongoing company success. I authored content delivery specifications for metadata, closed captions, video and artwork to ensure content partners met cost, quality, and security requirements. After the Viacom acquisition, I led technical media operations diligence across products and processes, and established a new, larger operation that integrated the new parent company.Results Delivered:► Led 20+ global launches and helped grow Pluto TV into the leading free OTT service in America in partnership with major networks, movie studios, publishers, and media companies. ► Delivered a 50% savings on vendor content processing charges within three months, greatly exceeding the 25% target while tripling the volume of video processing from 350 to more than 1,000 per day.

I built the programming and product strategy for a custom CMS and unified the studio and distribution workflows. I also created delivery standards for distribution to more than one dozen SVOD platforms including HULU, Sony, and Amazon. Results Delivered:► Transformed media services into a revenue-positive function, generating $1.8M top-line revenue in Year One. Developed the media services concept, and designed a multi-platform content monetization strategy with a rate card to recoup in-house processing costs when content partners did not deliver.
