I co-lead and manage an office of orthodontic assistants at Trapnell Orthodontics. This includes managing work schedules, assisting the doctor chair-side, changing archwires, bonding and de-bonding of braces, taking impressions for retainers, taking and charting pre-treatment records, and assisting the patient to be as comfortable as possible during treatment. I am also the purchaser of office and orthodontic supplies. I have been cross-trained and frequently cover front office procedures including collections, collecting insurance information, checking in patients, and scheduling appointments. I work with the events coordinator to plan and execute office parties, events, and contests for the staff and patients.
