Sunday Friends is the working alternative to charity. This non profit works with low income and homeless families across the South Bay to provide computer skills, health education, and basic necessities, allowing them the opportunity to pull themselves out of the cycle of poverty. I co-founded this nonprofit with the goal of transforming the traditional charity model into a more respectful and equitable model. I co-developed the organizational branding and community communications and assisted with grant proposals. I promoted the unique concepts through public presentations.Sunday Friends grew from a 2-person volunteer activity to a nonprofit that worked with tens of thousands of staff members, bringing in over two million dollars annually through grants and community support.
