I am dual qualified IP solicitor and registered trade mark attorney, managing international IP portfolios including clearance, registration and exploitation of trade marks and designs. My particular expertise is assisting clients source product - particularly from Asia - managing risk and opportunities relating to branding and trade marks, copyright, design rights and patents in a cost effective way. My specialist focus is the retail sector. I sit on the UK's Intellectual Property Regulation Board's disciplinary panel. I am a member of the South and Central American-focussed Inter-American Association of Intellectual Property (ASIPI) and sit on the Industrial Designs and Trade Dress Committee. I have been appointed as an expert by the European Commission’s South East Asia SME IP Helpdesk. I have worked in Vietnam managing anti-counterfeiting actions and portfolio work for international brand owners.
