With over 5 years of experience in statistical analysis, data storytelling, data visualization, and data management, I have demonstrated keen analytical skills and a knack for connecting with others to formulate projects, gather requirements, and communicate results. I have completed a diverse range of statistical and analytical projects. For example, I immersed myself in large and complex databases to produce a new dataset of over 100,000 demographic sub-categories. I then used that data to create the largest time series of state-level partisan proportions in the United States.At the Canadian Municipal Barometer Project I interfaced with the program director to implement data requirements used a combination of web scraping and manual data collection to help produce a dataset of 442 Canadian municipalities, totaling 10,450 unique observations and 177,650 data points in a study that analyzed municipal elections. I also wrote a data API in Python to access and classify Reddit comments for the presence of namecalling and incivility using transformers models in Tensorflow. Along the way I have produced world-class visualizations, reports, and presentations using R, Python, Jupyter, and Quarto.
