Team of attorneys and IT technologists worked on developing a secure electronic storage ofdocuments within the applicable financial services industry protocol through the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Provided legal counsel to Pennsylvania Secretary of Banking and staff on banking law mattersincluding interpretive letters in response to industry requests, federal banking regulatory issuesinvolving Federal Reserve and FDIC, represented agency at federal and state meetings, advisedexaminations staff. Reviewed merger applications, receiverships, general applications, forregulatory compliance and related issues. Served on PA Electronic Digital Signatures task force leading to enactment of the first such State statute in the U.S. Served as Chairman of annual national regulatory agencies conference for the 50 States.

Participated in developing what became the first state digital signatures statute, the PennsylvaniaElectronic Transactions Act of 1999, patterned in part after UETA.

Taught semester course on real estate finance to interested college students. Prepared lesson plans, taught in classroom environment, created and issued tests and grades. Part-time while practicing financial institution and automobile industry law full-time at law firm.

Organized and convened annual conference providing 3 days of education and networking for banking regulatory agency attorneys from the 50 States, and federal banking attorneys. Successfully completed the one-year term of this revolving annual position.
