Senior Instructional Designer
Current-Oversee the design and revision of online courses for partner universities. -Set development standards, which ensure online courses—are organized effectively and align learning objectives with assessment, practice, and instruction.—promote interaction, social presence, and community among students and between students/faculty.—incorporate authentic learning assignments and assessments that encourage critical thinking skills and self-directed learning.—are highly interactive and academically rigorous. -Assist faculty with design and redesign of courses for online delivery, including the story-boarding of interactive learning objects. -Serve as the primary point of contact between program leadership at the university partner and the Keypath course development team.-Ensure courses are designed on time, on budget, and according to specifics.-Develop faculty training and Student Orientation materials.-Oversee the process of continual improvement for partner programs.-Provide leadership, instructional design advice, and coaching to other instructional designers, faculty, and web developers. -Support the business units in the escalation and proactive resolution of course development issues.-Assist the Director of Instructional Design in the realizing of course development initiatives. -Support new program launches and attend Partner Course Development Workshops, as needed.-Assist in the creation and maintenance of materials for the Course Development Workshop.-Oversee the work of a small team of Instructional Designers.
