Renato Marinho is Head of Cyber Labs for Accenture LATAM and Incident Handler at SANS Internet Storm Center. His journey in the area began in 2001, when he created Nettion, one of the first firewalls to use the contemporary UTM (Unified Threat Management) concept. At Cyber Labs, he is responsible for the areas of research, development and innovation. PhD in Applied Informatics, he is also professor teaching Computer Forensics and Malware Analysis in post-graduate courses. He is also a speaker having presented at conferences such as RSA Conference 2018/2019, SANS Blue Team Summit 2018, Botconf 2017/2018, SANS Data Breach Chicago 2017; Brazil National CSIRTs Forum 2015/2017/2018/2022, and FIRSTCON 2023. SANS GIAC GCFA, ISC2 CISSP and ISACA CRISC certified, his research interests include Machine Learning and Generative AI, Cyber Threat Analysis and Post-Quantum Security.
