Virtus Nutrition is a Swanson Family Company and is located in Corcoran, California. They are an animal feed technology company that is focused on fatty acid technology to deliver energy and improved production and reproductive efficiency to dairy cows. Specifically, their latest product additions are StrataG with Omega-3s and Prequel with Omega-6s to improve conception rate, reduce early embryo loss and enhance early milk production. I am responsible for sales in California and marketing for the organization and am really enjoying the opportunity to work with a company that has a strong science base and is delivering highly valued technology to improve the nutrition of dairy cows.

My Dairy Dashboard is a cloud-based dashboard solution that provides visualizations of connected data from herd and feed management systems, milk processor systems used to track milk production and quality, and weather data sources. My Dairy Dashboard will be a secure platform from which dairy producers and their advisors can view trends on an individual dairy, as well as benchmark across other herds, providing key insights in the area of nutrition, production and financials. No more moving data around using clunky methods like thumb drives, Dropbox, or TeamViewer access...My Dairy Dashboard is simply real-time data at your fingertips. Coming fall of 2017!

BioEnergy Solutions builds, owns and maintains methane digesters that capture greenhouse gases off of dairies and other food production facilities to convert to 'natural gas' and sell directly to energy companies. This unique approach creates an additional revenue stream for producers, helps reduce environmental impact and creates an additional source of renewable energy.

Manage the marketing efforts for POSILAC, a protein supplement given to cows to enhance their milk production efficiency. This product was the first product of biotechnology that was introduced into agriculture and has helped reduce the cost of production for dairy producers, which also helps enhance the affordability of milk to consumers.

Led the Operations of our Dairy Organization, as well as managed the call center that provides phone customer service.

Managed direct sales responsibility for a territory in the Central Valley in California, where I supported herds that had 4,000 plus milking cows. Supported product sales of POSILAC, bovine somatotropin, as well as various corn and alfalfa branded & traited products.
