Setup and maintain Linux and Windows servers.

Desktop support, network jack support/activation, switch programming, analog, pbx, voip phone setup and configuration.Support Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X, and Linux deployments.

Perform equipment maintenance activities. Troubleshoot and maintain all computer/lab equipment. Assist Technology Support Supervisor with maintaining the use of appropriate software programs. Maintain updated inventory records on all equipment. Respond to student and employee questions. Assist in periodic maintenance. Serve as liaison to service contractors. Evaluate equipment performance and recommend changes and upgrades.

Provide front line support for faculty, staff, and students. Support users with software and hardware issues, both technical issues and user education. Assist users with setting up and accessing network resources such as email, printers, network folders, and the wireless network. Manage user requests for account recreation/deletion, and account permissions level changes. Handle emergency and time sensitive situations such as equipment or software issues in a classroom while in session or when administrative staff has a deadline.
