Led the network and voice business development for the Americas working closely with Sales, Pre-Sales and the business units. This included a strong focus on improving pre-sales, technical validation and quote-to-bill processes. The product solutions were MPLS, satellite, global voice services, global call collection and SIP trunking. Bob oversaw the business development team for e-health/machine-to-machine that has incorporated Orange solutions ranging from connectivity to application development and hosting. Additionally,I had a leadership role for the oil, gas & mining sector which resonates with Orange’s global solutions.

Developed and enabled successful selling strategies for solutions being sold in the Americas as well working with the Business Units on the solutions fit for the Americas. The solutions included was on MPLS networks, voice, video, contact center, mobility and integration services.

Set policy and managed procurement for network equipment, supplies, and travel. Project managed due diligence in an M&A activity including vetting all material placed on virtual data room. Rewrote schedule of authorizations for all company transactions. Developed capital management tool and track capital for the CFO. Coordinate and manage all business cases. Lead the ORACLE purchasing module implementation.In prior position, created and tested entity-level Sarbanes-Oxley controls in just twelve weeks. Conducted Board member and senior executive interviews to ascertain organizational “tone.” Project-managed identification and remediation of deficiencies; developed Access database critical to tracking and reporting.

Director - Switch Engineering and Project Management (2001-2004)Led local and long distance capacity planning, engineering, voice mail engineering & project management.* Prepared successful bid for market trial of new voice mail service in only two weeks.* Network engineering leader to move long distance switching to the next generation of features and hardware (IP technology).* Delivered capital program 3% under $223M budget while taking on $40M of additional commitments in last four weeks of the year. Director - Local Network Services Engineering - Southeast (2000-2001)Established transmission equipment, switch, and traffic engineering, and project management of Local Network Services for the Southeast. Managed nationwide microwave radio engineering district.* Created a fully-staffed, well-trained engineering operation despite scarce resources and minimal training support from existing organization.
