Maintenance Technician
CurrentEffectively communicates with management and peers to plan short stops in production for equipment repairs/ adjustments.Walk through production areas identifying and documenting unusual noises, sights, odors, and repairing or adjusting equipment to remedy nonconformance.Review CMMS work orders and converses with equipment operators to rectify equipment problems Performs preventive maintenance tasks using checklists to optimize machine operation, such as checking, cleaning, and repairing equipment.Adjusts working parts such as drive belts, pulleys, drive chains, and sprockets, using hand or power tools.Performs diagnostic procedures using multimeters, sensor testers, power supplies and other specialized equipment.Troubleshoots equipment malfunction using factory authorized technical manuals and interprets basic electrical diagrams.Sets up and operates lathe, mill, band saw, grinder, sheer, roller, brake and other metal working tools to fabricate replacement parts.Weld repair of components utilizing TIG, MIG, and Oxy-Acetylene.
