Promote the health and safety management systems and programs of the company & client at site. Reports to safety manager & safety superintendent safety related issues at work. Ensure that safety requirements of work are implemented and maintained. Assist in preparing JSA & Risk Assessment. Prepares weekly & monthly reports for HSE Statistics to be submitted in Corporate Safety. Prepares daily safety inspection report known as Level 1& 2. Conducts site PTW audit, behavioral intervention program observation and counter checks STARRT cards and Step Back cards of site operatives. Performs inspection of fire-fighting equipment, double checks the availability of inspection checklist for light vehicles & heavy equipment at site. Ensures the tools & equipment used by workers are in safe conditions. Monitors site activities to ensure that unsafe acts & condition are eliminated or properly controlled. Conducts gas testing prior to entry in confined spaces activities. Ensures work permits are valid and appropriate to activities including its attachment such as job safety analysis & method statement.

Petro Rabigh Refining & Petrochemicals Saudi Arabia

Assist in the overall supervision and administration of project safety, accident, and fire protection programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment as per Petro Rabigh Refinery & Petrochemicals Project Procedure. Ensure implementation of HSE Plan, JHA/Risk Analysis for job activities. Conduct daily, weekly, monthly Site Safety Audit and Inspection. Prepare reports of Project Safety Index status as per Petro Rabigh Construction Manual & General Instructions. Investigating and reporting all incidents/accidents as per our Client’s and legislative requirements ensuring that root causes are identified and remedial actions are closed out. Assess workplace area for effective hazard control. Assisting in the development of emergency response plans and arrange for drills to be conducted. Participating in emergency drills and responses as required. Providing in-house HSE training to site personnel to equip them for working on the project in a healthy and safe manner. Liaising with contractors’ safety personnel on deficiencies found during inspections relating to their work scope, advising how to close out each point raised.

: Ensures with enforcement that safety rules, regulations, procedures and standards are in compliance as per Qatar Petrochem. Conducting internal EHS audit. Preparing incident and accident reports & make recommendations to fix the hazard. Arranging inspection and certification of Equipment and Tools in the work shop area and cross inspection for the same. Monitor and strict compliance of “Permit to Work” system at worksite & explain the importance of the same to the workforce. Deliver safety Induction training and Tool Box Talk. Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly project reports. Monitor Safety activities in critical work such as heavy lifting, confined space entry, working at elevated location & radiation. Monitoring Environmental issues. Preparation of Management Programs and Operational Control Procedures (OCP's) for both EMS & OHSAS.
