The study aims to reduce climate change impacts on biodiversity and foster biodiversity actions that have co-benefit on climate mitigation and adaptation to simultaneously achieve the IBSAP and NZE target.• Developed the Regional Biodiversity Management Index as a reference for the provincial government to develop their Long-Term Regional Development Plan (RPJPD) 2025-2045.• Co-developed AFOLU, global warming, and biodiversity sub-models in the Low Carbon Development Indonesia Green Economy Model (LCDI-GEM). The model was used to determine the quantitative targets of emissions intensity, percentage of emissions reduction, green economy index, and biodiversity management index in the National Long-term Development Plan (RPJPN) 2025-2045.• Developed AFOLU sub-model in the generic version of (LCDI-GEM) that is applied for all Indonesian provinces. The model will be used to determine quantitative targets of emissions intensity, percentage of emissions reduction, and green economy index in Regional Long-term Development Plan (RPJPD) 2025-2045.• Co-developed AFOLU sub-model in emissions projection models for North Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and South Kalimantan as a basis for determining sectoral emissions reduction policies and targets in Regional Low Carbon Development Plan that will be ratified by governors regulation.
