Worked on precision GNSS (GPS) solutions from an internally developed board to integration with 3rd party receivers over a nationwide RTK-PPP hybrid network.Nationwide GPS remote sensing network Currently building a configuration management system to manage fielded devices. Created an API that streamlines the device interfaces as well as integrates other datastores and 3rd party APIs to ultimately allow other members of the team to access a central endpoint.Drove decisions for selection of 3rd party equipment that would transition us from a small scale network to something that could be manageable and reliable on a national scale.Coordinated with factory and network teams to ensure consistency and reduction of process overlap.Factory Test AutomationReduced technical debt by massive refactoring of a legacy codebase. The original developers tried to use functional programming which isn’t the right paradigm for automation fixtures. I converted the codebase to a much cleaner object oriented paradigm. This allowed the company to extend the suite of tests and also extend the types of test fixtures to cover a second product line.
