Hi! Thanks for seeing more about who I am. Hopefully this will give a quick and honest look for more about me.I've been in banking for over 20 years. Apparently the "accidental career" got me when I was in 5th grade at the Exchange City program where I was the Assistant Manager for the bank. (Exchange City was a program here in KC that doesn't exist any longer so now you know I'm old...)Post High School and an Associates Degree at a local community college, I wanted to go to school for business and flirted going to Tulane as they kept sending me information, but I decided to become a legacy student at Pittsburg State University 🦍 (my dad and uncle both attended there) with my parents help financially, while also working at a bank both here in KC and in the SEK/SEMO area.After college I started with Blue Cross Blue Shield of KC working in their Membership Department (again as a legacy employee as my mother, aunt, and grandmother all worked there previously). It was my time at BlueKC that I learned how to (or not) play the office politics game.I then went back to what I knew and loved, banking. I started with US Bank (again) in December 2008 and stayed with them until the Spring of 2018. Then I found a deeper appreciation for the profession and people in it and landed at Country Club Bank. Now I'm focused on Living/Working/Playing in the community I love. Playing "Matchmaker" for business owners across industries, coach/trainer/mentor for some awesome people who love their jobs, and getting to stand back and watch them succeed.I am blessed to have the best wife in Kristin, who has also given me the best 3 boys for kids. We are travelers ✈🚢 at heart and don't get to do as much as we want but we also are active members of our local church ⛪. Also, pretty fond of our Professional & Collegiate sports teams ⚽🏈⚾🏀🏐.Thanks for the time! Look forward to networking with you!
