Team Lead/Web Developer
CurrentWork as liaison between customer and web team to define scope of projects, recommend best practices and solutions, create action plans, and deliver improved high-quality web products in a timely fashion. Effectively convey complex ideas and share alternative perspectives for customer’s consideration. Keep customer apprised of industry standards, company guidance, trainings, and new products, along with providing supporting documentation and resources. Connect customer with key personnel to support advancement of current and future projects. Submit monthly update of web content status to customers. Develop and maintain many internet and intranet websites in CDC Web Content Management System (WCMS). Manage team workload and other production-related tasks to create optimized, compliant, and accessible web content. Assign tasks to team and track workflow. Direct team projects, including reduction of COVID-19 website from more than 2,000 items to approximately 200 items in preparation for moving site to new platform. Guide team in troubleshooting of technical issues and writing/updating of SOP documents. Prepare monthly QA report of web content status, perform assessment, and oversee the remediation of issues. Conduct training sessions on processes and applications. Conduct staff meetings and maintain team projects tracker. Coordinate web team after-hours and on-call support for emergency response.
