In my role, I collaborate with the Resource Management Team, Finance, Continuous Improvement and other business partners in order to analyze, communicate, and provide data solutions for Key Performance Indicators, forecasting, business problems, and Workstream analysis. I also work with business leaders to provide strategic partnership in analytics and to identify and prioritize opportunities for development of analytic solutions. My role further includes supporting operations teams through analytical findings, using knowledge and experience to advise functional leaders, and conceiving/planning/delivering on a various initiatives and reporting.

I collaborated with the Resource Management Team and Site Management to provide tactical plans for executing resource deployment strategies, a balanced and level loaded workflow, and output expectations based upon demand and capacity analysis on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. I also performed retrospective metrics analysis for continuous improvement opportunities. In addition, I monitored the day to day workflow and, in collaboration with RMG partners, made future recommendations to ensure cost and service level goal attainment.

 Responsible for day-to-day operations of pharmacy production team. Monitors productivity, quality and other performance standards. Directs work flow and assigns projects to team. Conducts hiring, training, and evaluation of staff. Implements basic lean principles during daily operations to maximize efficiencies. Part of team that eliminated failure points on the production line and helped to improve quality and accuracy in the most critical area in the pharmacy, improving overall DPMO to the entire pharmacy. Represented Operations in a cross-functional team that collaborated together to achieve success in the project.  Unit of Use optimization. Collaborated with Service/Engineering and inventory planning teams to optimize the utilization of the automated Unit of Use machines within the pharmacy. This involved making decisions and coordinating with support teams on moving inventory and modifying machines so that optimal output and volume balance could be realized. These efforts have resulted in improved productivity, efficiency, and safety, quality and service levels.  Subject Matter Expert for Picking Work stream. Representing the Saint Louis Backend Fulfillment Site. Team aligns all sites on picking initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Recently participated as a leader within the Ice Pick Kaizen event bringing together experts from all backend sites and different support groups. The outcome of the Kaizen resulted in multiple projects that will yield significant improvements relative to productivity Flex Program Champion for STL Backend Site. Key driver for new employee incentive program. Made strategy decisions, completed data analysis, developed planning and timelines, trained/educated employees and key stakeholders, and provided guidance throughout entire implementation. Program has provided immediate results: increased productivity, positive employee morale, and improved service levels for patients.

 Responsible for directing production operations at Legacy’s Earth City facility. Supervised and mentored 45 employees who worked on seven different productions lines. Served as lead supervisor for production line that generated $2 million per month. Created employee schedules and conducted employee performance reviews. Worked with Senior Leadership to improve production processes and played key role in organizing efforts and ensuring implementation of new production lines and technology.

 Responsible for employee training and coaching employees toward performance improvement. Worked closely with quality systems and safety programs and ensured all staff completed safety training program in addition to their individual job training. Developed entire training program for company, including but not limited to, employee curriculums, new employee orientation, and required cGMP training. Successfully created new employee training tracking system within all cGMP requirements. Worked with and provided support through all onsite audits with FDA and other external and internal auditing parties. No major findings found for training under my tenure as overseeing the training program.

I was in charge of one to two production rooms on a nightly basis. I supervised multiple teams of 5 to 10 people, placing people in the correct positions on the line and making sure the rooms were ran at the highest possible efficiency while complying with current Good Manufacturing Practices. I was also in charge of training new employees on critical tasks and making sure all batch records and documentation were filled out correctly.
