Part of multi-disciplinary team investigating thin film perovskite (and organic) semiconductors for imaging and sensing applications under the direct guidance of prof. Gerwin Gelinck (CTO of Holst Centre). The research focus is on exploring perovskite-based detectors, from understanding the device physics, through advanced optoelectronic characterisation, to the integration into biometric and biomedical sensor prototypes, including: - direct X-ray detectors- flexible fingerprint scanners- biomedical light sensors for remote heartbeat and respiration monitoring The research is carried out with the group of prof. René Janssen (TU Eindhoven) and in collaboration with multiple university groups, research institutes, and industrial partners as part of EU projects and frameworks.Additional activities:- Participation to international conference- Co-supervision of 5+ MSc and BSc interns
