- Created novel and innovative materials that helped push boundaries of bioplastic and biocomposite technologies and help commercialize these materials into product applications based on specifications provided by clients within the fields of packaging, consumer products, electronics, and toys. - Developed and managed a number of small and large R&D projects. - Produced hundreds of material formulations utilizing over 50 unique materials working with different plastics processing technologies with partner universities and research labs, employing creative solutions to produce new cutting edge bioplastic materials. - Worked with Solegear’s production partners to scale up technologies developed in the lab into prototypes and finished goods, and also constantly interfaced with clients, suppliers, and investors.

My Masters research was conducted on creating a compatibilized lignin and bioplastic blend for a renewable and biodegradable material with reduced cost and improved performance. I was also in charge of comissioning of a Leistritz twin-screw extruder and cast film extruder. I am also responsible for the daily operations, personnel training, and the troubleshooting of the same Leistritz twin-screw extruder, and a Labtech twin-screw extruder.
