I started working at 16 stocking shelves overnight for a KMart. That was my first taste of work and it was absolutely the best way to learn about working hard. Over the years I moved on and eventually found my career path when I started working Loss Prevention as a Best Buy. Then, it was correctional work for a private correctional facility (Geo Group Inc). Wanting to further my career path I joined the military as an Intelligence Analyst working for an EA-6B Squadron. I did that for two years and transitioned to the Marine Security Guard field where I did 3 years overseas for embassy security before the end of my contract and I left the military.I have completed my Bachelors in Homeland Security and am starting my Masters in Homeland Security with a focus on Counter-Terrorism Studies. I am currently employed in Reno, Nevada for a security company but always looking to move up the ladder in the workforce.I am completely open to moving to a new location to find work. I want to find a place to work that will reward me for working hard and offer the opportunity to move up in the company. I feel that I bring the core values of the Marine Corps with me along with the ability to learn fast. I am adept at communication in all three areas (speaking, writing, spelling) and believe that is something that companies need today.I have now moved to San Antonio and I am currently doing offshore electrical work for oil companies. While this is a complete change to my career I have enjoyed challenging myself in different areas while continuing to allow myself to make a more comfortable living.
