Oversee the procurement of priority orders for approximately 80 branches and stores situated across the United States. Responsible for the purchasing via requisitions, follow-up, and expediting of hard goods in a fast-paced environment for the commercial, industrial, and medical fields, including Los Angeles refineries. The commodities include, but are not limited to, safety and welding equipment, along with supplies, tools, work uniforms, and calibrated gas. Work closely with and support the Sales/Customer Service Departments, Accounts Payable/Receivable departments. Assist with setting up new accounts, negotiate cost and delivery with suppliers.

Responsible for purchasing commodities such as photo chemistry, photo paper, mini-lab supplies and warehouse supplies. Responsible for inventory control, negotiating prices and lead time of product with vendors. Resolved various issues regarding commodities and pricing between vendors and Diversified Imaging Supply. Negotiated contract terms with vendors.

Purchased materials for the fabrication of hot roll laminating machines for the printed circuit board industry. Assisted in the planning of materials. Managed inventory. Negotiated price and delivery for all vendors. Attended trade shows as a representative for the company.

Responsible for the purchasing of packaging materials and chemicals for manufacturing of products in our warehouse. Assisted in material planning. Work with Sales and Marketing Departments, along with R & D, on the development of new products. Negotiate credit terms, price and delivery with new suppliers. Created company catalog using digital camera and Adobe Photoshop. Upgrading of the catalog as necessary with price changes and new products.
