I am a project manager in the international paste thickener group. We provide thickeners to international clients mostly for mining and mineral customers.

Managed the District's Engineering/GIS/IT Department. Served as Board of Director's Assistant Secretary. Developed department budget, supervised professional staff, developed and managed the capitol project program. Managed the design engineering and construction of system improvements, maintenance projects, local improvement districts, plat reviews, developer construction plan reviews, water quality program, water allotment segregation & transfers, and development and maintenance of the district's GIS system, etc. Developed the RFP's for consultant selection for outside engineering services, selected and contracted with consulting engineering firms. Managed grant funding from department of ecology and the US Bureau of Reclamation.

Responsible for all aspects of site development of commercial & residential land development, and public transportation projects. Work included grading; public roads and private parking lots; water, sewer and storm drain systems; wetland delineation, and power line relocation.

Managed Albertsons $50M/yr, Western Washington New Store Development program. Developed new self-developed and co-developed retail grocery stores, fuel centers and pharmacies. Prepared budgets and schedules for site and building; secured corporate financing; managed ALTA surveys; developed and received corporate approval of building elevations; acquired government entitlements and permits; coordination of décor; and architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical requirements. Negotiated and managed engineering & architectural design contracts for site and buildings. Bid and awarded construction contracts and approved pay applications and change orders. Special projects included acquisition, custom décor, new Point of Sale equipment and re-fixturing of the first Albertsons.com grocery store with walk-in shopping & in-store ordering on a four- month schedule.

Managed design and construction of transportation capital improvement projects. Developed project objectives, specifications and timelines. Prepared RFP's and negotiated engineering contracts. Managed all project financial accounts, and prepared project status reports. Prepared project construction estimates for grant applications for state and federal grant funding. Prepared SEPA documents. Managed consultant development of bid plans, specifications and cost estimates; Purchased right-of-way. Managed project construction and inspection. Planned and conducted public meetings and open houses; prepared and presented project presentations to citizen groups, businesses and the City Council/Mayor. Developed and implemented the City's first employee Commute Trip Reduction (CTR) program including drafting and implementing compressed work week, guaranteed ride home service, car pool and van pools and subsidized bus passes. Responsible for reviewing and approving other public and private companies' CTR programs as required by state law. Experience with projects up to $7M.

B-2 Advanced Technology Bomber Project. Responsible for coordinating design of primary structures and engineering drawing releases with Northrop and the U. S. Air Force. Prepared 3D and 2D CAD/CAM drawings and electronic files for NC machining. Special assignments included serving as an engineer liaison for NC machining group fabricating composite doors and door hinge mechanisms. Secret (SAR) security clearance required.

Responsible for preparing construction bid estimates for public and private road and utility construction. Responsibilities included finding new projects, bid preparation, pre-bid and pre-construction meetings, contract execution, ordering materials, pay estimate preparation and materials & testing submittals.
