• Service Delivery lead for the replacement of legacy EOSL Core Routers (x4) that connect all BT’s Data Centres to the wider network. This was completed on time and on budget with no service incidents or outages for applications. Liaised and worked closely with change management, design authority and technical teams as well as co-ordinating all four core routers.• Lead on EE Data Centre Network Integration with BT’s existing Data Centre Networks.• Nominated lead for complex and high-profile programmes such as Core Router replacements, replacements of all legacy Cisco GSR CE Routers at each Data Centre with Cisco ASR Routers as well as replacement of all existing Data Centre (CE) to Core (PE) circuits with newly provisioned single product circuits.• Day to day management of customer driven and line of business-driven programmes of work, including reviewing Detailed Design Documentation and scheduling of work with technical teams as per internal guidelines whilst adhering to customer SLAs and delivery timeline.• Nominated change assessment manager (CAM) for the network and firewall teams responsible for change quality, approvals and liaising on daily CAB calls to ensure change policy is adhered to within the Network/Firewall arena.

• Overall responsibility for operations and infrastructure at Glasgow Data Centre as well as key strategic tech suites within Central Scotland including line management for Data Centre Operational Personnel.• 24/7 on-call cover on the Data Centre Management Escalations rota for major incidents at any of BT TSO’s core Data Centres.• Responsible for managing Space Capacity (Power, Cooling and Physical Space) in Glasgow Data Centre and in-scope remote tech suites as well as planning new installations and liaising with 3rd party suppliers for ordering of required infrastructure including racks, structured and patch cabling as well as rack power feeds.• Responsible for ownership, review and resolution of all Risks and Incidents at Glasgow Data Centre.• Manage ISO27001:2013 certification at Glasgow Data Centre and work closely with other Data Centre Managers to ensure all Data Centres conform to in-scope ISO27001:2013 controls.• Ensure continued compliance with PCI, IL3 & HMG Security requirements within Glasgow Data Centre.• Data Centre National Energy Savings Initiatives Lead for 2016/17.• Ongoing PUE and/or Energy Efficiency Improvement initiatives at Glasgow Data Centre.• Lead for BT TSO Data Centres on Data Reporting activities.
