I'm process oriented which has served me well in the power industry and military career which I believe crosses over to other industries besides power and energy. While well versed in fossil power I'm most excited about the dynamic changes impacting power generation and the growing realization that the energy we supply must importantly be "just" and as well, reliable and clean. I keep up to date on emerging avenues in the renewable generation marketplace above and beyond solar PV/thermal and wind. I'm keenly interested in the hydrogen arena and energy storage in all its guises.I'm equally comfortable in the power plant spaces as I am at corporate HQ. P&L responsibility for the fleet which entails getting into the details and actively negotiating beneficial contracts and providing consistent leadership to the people on the deck-plates, whom ultimately produce our business success.
