I serve as the Design-Build (DB) lead in the Northeast for AECOM Transportation projects. In this role I identify and track upcoming projects and coordinate with regional contractors to establish teaming on DB pursuits. I am involved with all aspects of contract negotiations and am able to leverage my knowledge of AECOM resources to build the best design team for each unique Project. Other responsibilities include training design managers and discipline leads on DB best practices and in how to produce innovative alternate technical concepts to add value to our construction partners and owners. My role also includes coordination with AECOM’s East Coast and National Alternate Delivery Group (ADG), insuring that the DB pursuit and delivery in the Northeast is well coordinated with that of AECOM’s national ADG practice.

My work experience with AECOM started over 29 years ago in AECOM’s Philadelphia, PA office. Regardless of location, I have always strived to deliver challenging projects for AECOM and provide quality and value our clients. I am presently based in Providence, RI and lead AECOM;s DB efforts in the Northeast. I am a certified DB manager from the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) and I am a licensed professional engineer in RI, MA, NJ and PA.A few notable projects include:RIDOT, Bridge Group 51B; Route 37 C-3 (Design-Build), RI (2022 to Present) Project Manager/ Design Manager responsible for delivering the design to replace six bridges for this $65 million design-build project. The Project involves significant traffic analysis and staging and the use of accelerated bridge construction (ABC). Design completion expected in 2023. Manage a team of 22 engineers and scientists.RIDOT, Reconstruction of the Route 6/10 Interchange (Design-Build), RI (2017 to 2022) Project Manager/ Design Manager responsible for delivering the design to replace the aging 6/10 interchange which consists of 5 miles of roadway reconstruction and 12 new bridges. Construction value of approximately $250 million. As design manager, responsible for delivering all aspects of the design and managing a staff of 50. Design was significantly complete in 2021.RI DOA, Emergency Services, PM/CM Oversight Services for COVID-19 Alternate Hospital Sites, Providence, RI (April 2020 to May 2020) PM responsible for planning, design and construction oversight for emergency and rapid response for temporary hospitals to serve COVID-19 patients. As PM, I oversaw the execution of the program which accomplished an epic amount of planning, design and construction work, executed in a 24 hour per day/ 7 days per week continuous operation for 28 straight days for three alternate hospital sites. The first two hospitals with a capacity of 1,000 beds were fully functional after 21 days from NTP.

Served as a Project Engineer for bridge replacement and bridge rehabilitation projects for the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. Projects involved substructure design, superstructure design, retaining wall and sound barrier designs. Developed plans, specifications and estimates.

Served as an engineer for bridge replacement and bridge repair contracts. Clients included the Delaware River Port Authority, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Delaware Department of Transportation and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority. Duties included inspection, analysis, design, structural modeling and plan development.
