I am an experienced Senior Operations Manager / Leader with a 19 year history of working in the financial services industry delivering strong outcomes / services to customers and clients. Most recently I have 3 years+ working for the civil service, firstly the UK Health Security Agency delivering swift, strong and robust policy initiatives in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Secondly with National Savings and Investments and driving a major change initiative which will transform NS&I to a digital first financial provider. Culminating in my current role working in Defra heading up the Innovation & Infrastructure Team within the Water Services Function.My key skills are leading large departments, implementing change management, leading and delivering project management, enhancing colleague engagement, driving service delivery, strong, clear client management, embedding cultural change and owning risk management. I have a people based values system which underpins my success. I am proud of the way I lead my teams and the value they have always added. I consistently look to go above and beyond on expectations most recently implementing a green scheme into our business which took miles off the road and drove CO2 emissions down. I have recently also expanded my skill set to include designing and developing policy work working for DHSC and designing and implementing two nationwide self-isolation practical support schemes that were launched as part of the Prime Ministers Roadmap during Covid 19. I have experience of working in both public and private sector organisations.Academically I have graduated from Lancaster University and Northumbria University and most recently attended a number of Henley Business School Masterclasses.
