Richard Martin is a highly respected marketing and communications professional with over 25 years of digital and traditional communications and marketing experience. Leveraging a unique blend of creative and technical skills, he specializes in helping companies adapt and thrive through periods of growth, transition and crisis. Prior to coming on board at TDS, Richard worked in the Canadian agriculture and financial sectors where he helped companies shape and sustain great brands. During this time, he also began to build his international reputation as a curator and archivist of vintage electronic instrument marketing memorabilia as "Retro Synth Ads" while amassing one of the world’s largest personal collections.As a consultant, Richard has worked with numerous organizations including the Canadian Aquatic Hall of Fame as their Collections Manager where his communications, collections and archivist experience has helped the board of directors rebuild the organization in order to open its doors again. He also volunteers his communications and marketing expertise to not-for-profits such as Gardens Manitoba where he is a member of their board.Richard also continues to collect and curate his personal memorabilia collection. Numerous items have appeared in videos and documentaries, and pieces from the collection have received international recognition by highly respected companies and organizations including Moog Music, the Alan R. Pearlman (ARP) Foundation and Red Bull Music Academy.
