Led a cross functional global team focused on the operational success of G Adventures marine programs in the Arctic, Antarctic and Galapagos. With an in office team of 6 (based in 3 countries) we directly managed the operations of 4 vessels including the 132 passenger G Expedition.• Full vessel operational responsibility including procurement, budgeting, crewing, hotel and passenger operations• Responsibility for the annual operations budgeting and cost control with a budget of over $20 million• Consistently delivered the highest NPS (customer satisfaction scores) in the company• Developed and implemented operational policies and procedures for office and onboard teams• Management of over 100 crew members to deliver the the full passenger cruise experience including the onboard hotel service, excursion and educational programs onboard Expedition• Supervision of outsourced technical management company with financial decision making authority for the repair and maintenance and capital investment programs• Owners representative for dry docks and refits in both Europe and Ecuador. Including a multi-million Euro repowering projects in Genoa, Italy in September 2015• Preparation and presentation of operations financial models for current operations and evaluation of future capital projects

Spent the summer during my MBA program working as the Associate Marketing Manager on Cheerios. I participated in the Canadian launch of Chocolate Cheerios achieving an unprecedented 90% distribution in just 4 weeks. Collaborated with agency partners to develop and implement a digital media plan for the Cheerios brand in Canada focused on increasing Search Engine Optimization as well as developing a strategy to drive sales in the province of Quebec for major General Mills cereal brands.

Coordinated the passenger operations of Gap Adventures expedition/educational cruise programs to the Arctic and Antarctic. Led a cross-functional team developing new ship board programs, managed passenger and customer experience and communications and introduced target driven pricing and volume models. Major Projects/Roles Included:Onboard Operations Manager - MV Polaris - January 2008 to March 2008Led a 8 person expedition team onboard the MV Polaris executing 5 expedition cruises in the AntarcticAssistant Project Manager - MV Expedition - September 2008 to March 2009Led the client focused project team in the conversion of a ferry into an expedition ship in Finland. Responsible for procurement and installation of expedition equipment and ship tour and program development for the launch of the Expedition in April 2009. The project was successfully completed on time and within budget.
