  • Really Awesome Coffee
    Co-Owner
Really Awesome Coffee Feb 2024 - Present
    Westbury, England, United Kingdom
Proud to confirm that I and my partner are now franchise owners of Really Awesome Coffee - Westbury in Wiltshire. We plan to cover much further beyond including the towns of Warminster, Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon and everywhere in between. The business will follow two streams, the regular Monday to Friday coffee run and then an events focus throughout the year as opportunities become available. There is a realisation that coffee is the staple of most day to day routines, it’s a drink that so many of us consume and so the market opportunity is huge, we want to be the best at delivering a reliable and friendly service to people across our franchise area. The reason for posting such a social media centric business is to connect with anyone who is involved in mass participation events across the South West including Wiltshire, Somerset, Hampshire and Devon. Coffee is our bread and butter but our offering extends far beyond this, our self-sufficient mobile cafe can bring whatever is needed no need for noisy generators, our solar panels also gives us longevity for multi-day events. Fully insured and members of NCASS we are fully aligned with the needs of the most professional of organisations.

  • Firstlight Trust
    Member Board Of Trustees
    Firstlight Trust Nov 2015 - Apr 2017
    Westbury, Wiltshire
After much consideration and self-assessment, I have reluctantly decided that my efforts to support veterans is better steered towards entering and partaking in a number of Half-Marathons with the aim of raising money and awareness for this fantastic charity. I am proud to have been able to play even a tiny part and will continue to fly the flag of an organisation which whole heartedly strives to do well for those who have served.I am very proud to be a member of the team at FirstLight Trust as one of the charity's Trustees, I am exceptionally humbled and proud to support the work this charity has done to date and I will, at every opportunity, highlight the great work done by the team.If you would like to discuss the work FLT is doing and/ or how it is you might be able to help, then please do feel free to get in touch. The FirstLight Trust is a grass-roots, community-based charity which assists often 'hard to reach' veterans from any service or any conflict who, for one reason or another have so far fallen through the “net”, or indeed may have ended up on the streets. Those who don't know where to turn, where to go or what to do, who feel that they have been rejected or have exhausted all other avenues. They may just feel too proud or confused to ask for help. Our aim is to give physical, emotional and psychological aid however that works: it might be accessing housing, helping deal with depression and/or any form of post-traumatic stress disorder, providing vocational courses or simply a place to drop in for a brew and a chat. Our aim is to support them back into the community and a better life.
