Responsible for the attraction of major employers and development including Fortune 1000 divisions, capital investment exceeding $1 billion, building construction exceeding 6 million square feet, and the creation and retention of over 7000 jobs. Assisted companies in all facets of the development cycle.- Increase the attraction, expansion, and retention of businesses in Baltimore County, act as business advocate, develop and expedite business assistance requests. Companies assisted include; UnderArmour, Weyerhauser, Lockheed, McCormick Spice, and Bill Me Later.- Direct major projects including land and highway development, redevelopment of industrial areas, biotechnology, Defense Department Homeland Security, Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), Informatics and technology transfer programs.- Major development/redevelopment projects include: Baltimore Crossroads @95, White Marsh commercial projects, North Point Enterprise Zone, Marshfields Business Park, Colgate Business Park, Sparrows Point Shipyard Industrial Complex.- Initiated creation of Chesapeake Science & Security Corridor brand for regional BRAC organization/trade shows.- Compile, analyze, and present research on County businesses and property development.- Create and deliver presentations and prepare briefs for corporate site committees, executives, associations, political representatives, and community groups.- Represent County Executive and Director at official functions.
