A varied role consisting of mooring operations, connecting and disconnecting of cargo loading arms and hoses. and operating valves. I carried out monitoring of temperatures and pressures.Other duties included working with small workboats, monitoring vessels in accordance with ISGOTT and ISPS requirements, and acting as a mooring advisor on crude oil.

At South Staffordshire Council I was responsible for assessing all locations deemed as potentiallycontaminated within the borders of the district in accordance with present government legislation. My main task was to assist the project surveyor in monitoring the town of Northwich for subsidence, as part of the remediation work that was being carried out by Wrekin Construction.
