Project SQA Lead, Outsource Team Manager, 2006 – 2007• Participated from the design phase of this new product, adding insight into functionality and customer ease-of-use during the creation of the Product Requirements document.• Identified test objectives and implementation scenarios from the Product Requirements documents. Determined pass/fail criteria and wrote test plans for all phases of the project.• Managed outsourced testing teams in India, assigning tests and collating and analyzing test results.• Tracked bugs as they appeared and worked closely with the company co-developing the product for Double-Take to address the bugs.• Provided regular, comprehensive updates to Product and Project Management of the status of testing, bug fixes, etc.• Wrote and presented both the final test report and the release report for the new product

• Responsible for re-creating customer network environments and testing important customer issues with server clusters/GeoClusters running Double-Take software products, especially where issues of integration with other software was involved.• Twice spearheaded the successful effort to have the Double-Take and GeoCluster software products certified to use the Microsoft logo in Double-Take marketing efforts and packaging. This effort included implementing scenarios and executing test protocols provided and required by Microsoft. Also worked with developers when a test or portion of the product did not meet pass/fail criteria. Additionally, supervised the weeks-worth of re-testing in California to complete the logo certification process, working closely with the third-party certification company performing the re-tests (Verisign).• Led the server cluster/GeoCluster portion of a project to update the application notes provided to customers for implementing Double-Take products with other software, specifically MS Exchange and MSSQL. This included designing implementation strategies, writing scripts and procedures and then testing them. Worked very closely with the Technical Writing team to write the updated technical information into the application notes.• Responsible for researching and designing a solution for clustering Oracle 10g with GeoCluster, as well as writing the subsequent application note for distribution to customers.• Acted as a consultant to Technical Support and the outside Sales Engineers for clustered Double-Take and GeoCluster implementations.
