This effort included implementing scenarios and executing test protocols provided and required by Microsoft. Also worked with developers when a test or portion of the product did not meet pass/fail criteria. Additionally, supervised the weeks-worth of re-testing in California to complete the logo certification process, working closely with the third-party certification company performing the re-tests (Verisign).• Led the server cluster/GeoCluster portion of a project to update the application notes provided to customers for implementing Double-Take products with other software, specifically MS Exchange and MSSQL. This included designing implementation strategies, writing scripts and procedures and then testing them. Worked very closely with the Technical Writing team to write the updated technical information into the application notes.• Responsible for researching and designing a solution for clustering Oracle 10g with GeoCluster, as well as writing the subsequent application note for distribution to customers.• Acted as a consultant to Technical Support and the outside Sales Engineers for clustered Double-Take and GeoCluster implementations.
