My relationship with Marco, Inc. began in Dec 2012 when the owners of Business Systems, Inc. decided to retire. They had the foresight to look for a company with similar business model plus so much more! Much of what I do is make business more efficient by solving workflow problems and incorporating a specific software solution to enable a business; university; college; or school become more efficient in their day-to-day operations. What really gratifies me is seeing satisfied clients! I really enjoy working with people by providing solutions that work!

I was employed at Education Resource out of Cleveland, OH as a systems engineer for the State of Iowa. Apple provided much of the training on site at their Cupertino, CA location. Much of my time was spent providing training; updates, technical advise to the K-12 education market in Iowa. I have had the opportunity to be involved with most of the Area Education Agencies throughout the state of Iowa plus being a presenter at many of the states education conferences.

Oversee the technology utilized at this District. Provide support and training to staff; teachers; and administrators with regards to software and network usage. Was a key member of the Technology Cabinet that helped write a 5 year technology plan; wrote the District's first web site; setup the District's first email system, and more. Helped implement a software strategy to greatly reduce issues once we brought the district onto our local area network.

In charge of overseeing the Honeywell DPS6 computer systems and associated LAN and terminals located on the USS Constellation CV-64 while in port and out at sea. Maintained preventative maintenance schedules and procedures to assign to team members on weekly basis. Assist software division on board with solving systems issues and overseeing payroll check printing. Run periodic system checks to ensure 100% operability. Won several awards including the Navy Achievement Medal for making operational, a supply ship's computer that had not been working properly for about a year.
