As a department head and business partner, primarily focused on setting the technology direction in support of front store and pharmacy operations. At Duane Reade the purview has grown to include development and support for Point of Sale, Pharmacy store systems, Pharmacy Central Fill, Pharmacy Mail Order, IVR, Third Party Administration and Pharmacy Data Warehouse. In 1999 established the Store Install Group to handle the installation of store equipment and telecom wiring, as well as the Technical Field Group to handle all store equipment issues. Member of several internal operating committees, including IT Leadership, PCI, HIPAA, SOX, Pharmacy, Pricing and Loyalty to name a few. Instrumental in bringing to market the first customer loyalty program to be launched by a chain pharmacy in 1999. In 2005 brought the program to the next level with a centralized database. In 2010 returned to the drawing board to develop a new loyalty program with features such as electronic rewards redemption and Incentive clubs. The program was immediately embraced by the public and to date claims an active membership of over 2 million. Technology spans 30 years. Prior to Duane Reade, leadership positions at the Rock Bottom drug store chain and CitiGroup.

Director of MIS 1985 - 1998 Rockbottom was a 42 store drug store chain headquartered in Lake Success, New York and was acquired by Duane Reade in 1998.Overall management responsibilities for a Development staff of six and an Operations staff of eleven which supported all headquarters systems as well as field services.Directed the implementation of numerous new systems including E3 Merchandising which significantly improved the ordering and replenishment cycles.Implemented new technologies including UNIX, AIX, POS and RF which resulted in overall service level improvements for many operational areas of the Company.
