Qa Analyst
Current• Over two years of experience using Agile/SCRUM methodology to build and test the company's next generation practice management system. We conduct daily Scrums, as well as release planning, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospective meetings.• Our team sets the standard for productivity in the Development department, and was recently selected to pilot the adoption of Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) techniques.• Create and execute rigorous tests for the integration of a comprehensive patient scheduling module that was built with NextGen technology into a legacy practice management system, with hundreds of integration points between them.• Develop SQL queries for database testing.• Interact with end-users during the beta testing phase, connecting remotely to their systems to gain an understanding of their problems, then communicating the issues to the technical team.• Examination of user stories, functional documentation, prototypes, and acceptance criteria to develop detailed and thorough test cases, resulting in frequently finding shortcomings that require rework.• Manage and update test plans and test cases as requirements are modified.• Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) including creation of workflow scenarios and decision tables.• Perform root cause analysis on particularly troublesome defects.• Demonstrate completed features to the Product Owner for formal acceptance.• Considered by the team manager/scrum master to be the team's quality leader, and function as a mentor in quality efforts for the other QEs in the R&D department.• Customer-focused results, with constructive feedback to the design team and Product Owner.• Coordinate QA efforts with remote personnel (Baltimore, Philadelphia, London, Shanghai, California).• Certified Quality Advocate.• Independent reviewer for regulatory compliance on the continued development of an application classified by the FDA as a Class III Medical Device.
