CurrentManage the Loads and Structural Dynamics team of specialists, overseeing all aspects of static loads, dynamic loads, and structural dynamics development, testing, analysis, and certification efforts across a wide range of products spanning 14 CFR 23, 14 CFR 25, and military programs. Critical roles are contributing to the structural sizing effort, overseeing the structural dynamics lab, safely executing full vehicle ground vibration (GVT) testing and flight flutter envelope expansion, and ensuring all regulatory aspects are addressed and documented.Key Contributions:• Manage overall schedules and deliverables for all supported programs. Assign resources to meet program milestones and engineering financial goals.• Participate in recurring advanced design configuration management meetings helping scope new product development efforts and assign support resources as necessary.• Oversaw team that completed several clean sheet airplane full aircraft GVT, component GVTs, and control surface balance operations as well as subsequent flight flutter envelope expansion testing.• Designed, developed, and tested a novel tuned vibration absorber to address objectionable wing strut vibration. Patent filed.• Established dedicated role within my team to execute the development and use of new tools and technology to improve the workflow and technical capabilities of the team. Focus is both within the various disciplines on my team as well as across other functional areas such as aerodynamics, flight controls, and structural integrity.
