I have developed software with a wide variety of functions in both the private and public sector for companies including Hays Travel and Newcastle College.Currently I am working as a platform developer for tombola, Britain’s biggest bingo operator. In this role I have been able to develop myself personally learning cloud platform technologies in AWS and .net MVC along with carrying out analytics work in Google’s suite of digital marketing tools to drive product decisions and test upcoming changes.My friendly, approachable nature and cheerful attitude often promotes enthusiasm within my team and my ability to communicate effectively with clients facilitates excellent software development. I chose software development as I particularly like the dynamic nature and the problem solving opportunities it affords; the feeling of accomplishment when I overcome a demanding challenge motivates me to approach problems with a real tenacity in order to facilitate this.I graduated from Teesside University in Computer Games Programming. Here I learned about various aspects of Object-Oriented programming and developing mainly in C++. This provided a great base of knowledge for learning C# in a professional environment and the organisational skills for independently working towards strict deadlines.
