Structural Engineer, Contractor and Office of State Health Planning and Development Area Compliance Officers and District Structural Engineers. Inspections include, but not limited to Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing including the testing and balance of the above mentioned components, foundation preparation, structural components, architectural finishes, ADA accessibility, fire rated listed assemblies.

Responsible for material testing laboratories for acceptance and verification testing. Prepare audit reports, monthly project quality evaluations and trend reports. Responsible for procurement audits of structural steel, rail, special trackwork, signaling and supplier pre-stressed concrete structural components.

Alameda Corridor Design Build Project

Providing supervision of 24 inspectors and 17 technicians in the construction of a $750 million, 10-mile open-cut trench supported by 27000 cast-in-place concrete piles, lined with Shotcrete walls with a concrete invert slab, and precast prestressed concrete struts. 31 bridges with precast prestressed double T girders and box girders. Two 10-mile class 5 tracks and five 4-mile storage yard tracks. Duties include but not limited to the supervision and inspection of sub-grade preparation, sub-ballast installation, ballast installation, wood and concrete tie installation, continuous welded rail distribution, tamping, destressing, thermite welding, special trackwork, By-Pass track, run-around track, shoofly track, 50+ grade crossings, signaling equipment installation and testing. Responsibilities also include scheduling of testing for materials fabricated on and off site in accordance with local and federal specifications. Ability to express and have excellent communication skills with all levels of project team. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments. Interface and coordinate with various jurisdictions. Aware of probable hazards and differing site conditions. Write detailed daily reports. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
