After 42 years as an IT professional, I could list many strategic and technological accomplishments and I will do so as appropriate throughout this profile. Yet, my greatest achievements have been in helping lead others to successful careers. I am a natural leader with the ability to inspire others. I have mentored many IT professionals into senior management positions during my tenure in leadership roles. In addition to leading and motivating, I enjoy training (I love classroom education and workshop facilitation), team building, and presenting. I work best when I create an organized environment, so I have developed good organizational skills. I excel in strategic thinking/planning and data analysis (hand me a spreadsheet and I’ll hand you new information).The teams of talented people I serve have delivered excellent results year over year in costs and contracts management, service level delivery, and project implementations. My corporate server and data center team improved our core ERP system transaction processing over 400% in a new architecture environment transition. This environment hosts over 1,400 concurrent users and processes almost 200K transactions daily. My data center team, networks team, and telecommunications team, have each reduced service disruption time each year over the past 5 years. These teams provide services to over 60 locations worldwide. I initiated a major network architectural transition to a global SD-WAN utilizing both on prem and cloud data centers. I also managed a cloud data center conversion for both new and on-prem services.My position provided me the opportunity to bring new technologies into our company. My passion drove me to take these technologies and set vision and achievement for my teams.
