I am currently working for Solugenix as a Salesforce consultant with L.A. Care. L.A. Care is a health plan sponsor for Covered California, Cal Medi-Connect, and CMS DSNP., I work as a liaison between the Sales department and the CRM IT department. I am very fortunate to have this position. It allows me to contribute my extensive background in relational databases (Salesforce, Access, SQL, etc.) and my programming knowledge of VBA for Excel and Word.My prior employment was at Alignment Healthcare Plans. They allowed me to fully apply my skill set, which includes Excel, Access, and Word. For all of these applications I use VBA to automate them and automate interactions among them. Create an application in MS Access which automatically opens MS Excel in the background to create custom reports. Also open MS Word in the background from MS Access or MS Excel to create automated emails (Outlook) and documents. One of the projects I created allows Alignment to pull data for all 6,000+ Medicare approved plans and provide a simple Excel workbook for use by Sales and membership.I have experience working as a Salesforce Admin and enjoy all the "click not code" aspects of it including Process Builder. I've create a number of new applications within Salesforce specifically to spread the benefits of Salesforce (automation, access, etc.) to other departments within Alignment. I combine these into applications which use Apttus X-Author to pull/push data from/to Salesforce and Excel in order to create custom functions in Salesforce and custom reporting, based on Salesforce data, in Excel. Bottom line -- if the information is available electronically, I can usually figure out a way to capture it and put it to use for Alignment.
